The Chair Voser is glad to invite you to visit the exhibition sous les pavés - le jardin d'eau ! which is now accessible during the school opening hours on the the roof terrace on the H floor of the HIL building at the ETH Campus Hönggerberg.
Water, the basis of all life, will become increasingly uncertain in the future: We will either have to contend with too much or too little. The aim is to adapt conventional spatial structures in such a way that the blue gold can be slowed down, stored and directed, and to create new multi-coded spatial qualities in which functions and uses overlap.
The exhibition "sous les pavés - le jardin d’eau !"explores the potential of a new approach to rainwater: The rhythms of precipitation interact with storage and evaporation to form a dynamic water garden between creative intention and natural processes. The poetic expression of the functional and systemic transformation of rainwater management envisions new qualities and aims to demonstrate the natural coexistence of research facilities and recreational use.
