Discussion series 2 + 2 + 1

Heat, drought, heavy rainfall events – in the course of climate change, the extremes are becoming more severe and the frequencies in which they occur are accelerating. Natural and cultural landscapes need to adapt. These changes will not only affect the life of flora, fauna and humans, but also the character and ultimately the identity of our Swiss landscape.

2 + 2 + 1 is an exchange between practising landscape architects, theoreticians and trainees. The new challenges of climate change require us to innovate and share our knowledge: between specialisations and generations, Landscape architecture education is an indispensable tool to develop this exchange and foster a new generation of committed architects.
